Full Time Mortgage Processor

Job Summary:
As a Mortgage Processor, you will play a critical role in the mortgage application process, ensuring that all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with industry regulations. You will work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to facilitate the smooth and timely processing of mortgage applications.
Responsibilities:
-Verify applicant information, including income, employment, credit history, and assets.
-Coordinate with third-party vendors, such as appraisers and title companies, to obtain additional information as needed.
-Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting for approval and clearance.
-Monitor the progress of loan applications and keep all parties informed of the status.
-Providing excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
-Mortgage experience preferred but not a requirement
-High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
-Excellent organization and follow up
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-Computer literacy
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title:
Full Time Junior Loan Officer
Location(s):
Suffolk County New York
Job Summary:
As a Junior Loan Officer, we are looking to expand our team and bring even more value to our borrowers and referral partners with this vital sales and customer service role. You will attend open houses and real estate industry events, to meet with clients and referral partners, gather and enter data, and follow up with prospective home buyers to guide them through the mortgage pre-approval process.
Key Responsibilities:
-Attend open houses and real estate events to meet prospective home buyers and introduce them to our mortgage services.
-Gather and accurately enter data from prospective clients into our mortgage processing system.
– Follow up with prospective home buyers to provide information, answer questions, and assist them with the mortgage application process.
-Perform pre-approvals quickly and accurately for prospective home buyers.
-Stay informed about mortgage products, services, and industry trends to effectively assist clients and referral partners.
-Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all clients and referral partners.
Qualifications:
-Experience in the mortgage industry is preferred but not required.
-Flexible availability as work hours will vary through the week and weekend
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Highly motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
-Follow up, effective communication and sales
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for attending open houses and events.
